PPOM is joining with PAPME (Plein Air Painters of Maine) for weekly paint-out opportunities. PAPME has 3 areas in which they paint. In the Boothbay area the artists meet on Wed mornings, in the Southern Maine area they meet on Mondays and in the Western Lakes region on the weekends. Some of these groups paint out year round. To join PAPME and receive the weekly email notification please email Corinne McIntyre at opstudio@roadrunner.com. and mention that you are from PPOM. This change will give our members many more choices of location and days to paint-out. There are no meetings other than the paint-outs, artists paint in all mediums and there are some show opportunities. The annual PPOM Pemaquid Retreat Weekend will still be organized by Kay Daughan for PPOM. In 2012 the retreat will be held Thursday, May 31 to Sunday, June 3. Registration for the Pemaquid Weekend is now closed. We are full.
